Registration and Costs will be as follows

The Fantasy League will cost £10 for one team or £15 for two in 2009 and this fee will give entry to the league.

The money collected will be split between the prize fund and the club, with the prize fund dependant upon the number of entries received.

A charge of £1 per player transferred will be placed as the transfer fee.

The following rules shall be obeyed

Each team shall comprise of 11 players.

Each manager has a maximum of £55 million with which to purchase.

MANAGERS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO SELECT THEMSELVES FOR THEIR TEAM.

Each team must include a minimum of 3 bowlers, 3 batsmen and a wicket keeper.

YOUR TEAM MUST CONSIST OF AT LEAST 2 PLAYERS FROM EACH OF THE POOLS A TO D AND NO MORE THAN 2 FROM POOL E.

Once you are satisfied with your team hand the registration card to a member of the Fantasy League panel who will verify its legality.

Once the registration fee for each team has been paid your card will be signed and your team accepted in to the league.

Your team should not be altered once it has been accepted.  The exception to this ruling is if a player leaves the club or becomes injured prior to the commencement of the League Cricket seasons.

Transfers

Transfers can be made throughout the season.

A Maximum of 4 players can be transferred during the season at a cost of £1 per player.

However, after the transfers the team shall still comply with all other league rules.

All players transferred into the teams shall begin with a point rating of 0.  Points which the transferred out player had gained shall remain included in the total points tally of the team.

Points Awarded

10 points shall be awarded per game to each player that plays.

Batting

1 point shall be awarded for every run scored.

25 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already scored) for reaching 50 runs.

A further 25 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already scored) for reaching 100 runs.

10 points shall be awarded to each player of a partnership that amasses 100 runs.

5 points shall be awarded to a batsman who remains not out at the end of an innings.

An additional 100 points shall be awarded for hitting 6 sixes in one over.

20 points shall be deducted for obtaining a Golden Duck.

Bowling

15 points shall be awarded for every wicket taken.

A further 15 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already scored) to any bowler taking three wickets.

A further 25 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already scored) to any bowler taking five wickets.

A further 15 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already scored) to any bowler taking seven wickets.

A further 150 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already scored) for taking 10 wickets.

A further 100 points shall be awarded for taking a Hat-trick.

15 points shall be deducted for conceding 60-75 runs in an innings.

30 points deducted for conceding 76+ runs in an innings.

50 points shall be deducted for conceding 6 sixes in an over.

15 points shall be awarded to any bowler completing 15 overs in an innings.

Fielding

10 points shall be awarded for every catch/stumping/direct run out taken.

20 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already received) for taking 5 catches/stumpings/direct run outs in a match.

100 points shall be awarded (in addition to points already received) for taking 10 catches/stumpings/direct run outs in a match.

Wicket keepers who don’t concede any byes in a game shall be awarded with a 20 points bonus.

Others

250 points shall be deducted for any justified disciplinary action brought against a player either by the league or club.

General Rules

All decisions made by the fantasy league panel members will be final.

The fantasy league season will only include games played in the Thames Valley League, with the first game on the 6^th June

 2009.

(In the event of an abandoned game completed innings only will be counted although players will receive the 10 points for playing.  Players selected for games which are cancelled will not receive points)

A registration card shall be completed for each team entered.

The registration fee should be paid before any team can be accepted into the league.

The Fantasy League Panel can accept or reject any application to join on any grounds.

All teams should be entered prior to the start of the fifth Thames Valley League game although late entries may be accepted if the League Panel believes that an advantage has not been gained.

Match rigging will not be tolerated and will lead to disciplinary action or even exclusion from the Fantasy League.

The panel has the right to change, amend, add or delete any aspect of the league at anytime without any prior warning.
