Played for Elgin 2XI in Highland League when I was a teenager. Continued playing when I was in the RAF, never better than second XI. Started playing again in 2005 after a break of about 10 years. Played for Ramsdell Sunday XI. Only scored 20 runs in the season, 11 wickets (slow right arm) at an average I won't say but best was 2 - 2 of 8 balls. Also took 9 catches and did 1 run out. Thought it was time I played for my local team. 39 years old, also play football (used to play Sunday league for the Lamb Inn in Hermitage), cycle a lot, go to the gym and do a fitness class on Sunday mornings called body attack.
