Match report Thatcham 3s travelled to NPL Teddington who were one place and one point above them to look for a positive result. After winning the toss and putting Teddington in on a green pitch, Thatcham went about looking for early wickets but they only got one in the form of Eddie Wylie (1-22). After that the Teddington pair went about trying to get a score that Thatcham could find hard to chase. The game changed in the favour of Thatcham with the introduction of Ravi Mirchandani (2-36) and Tommy Mather (4-33) with the latter getting a hat-trick which was wonderful to be a part of which caused some good celebrations for the 14 year old. With Teddington shocked, the returning Owen Jenkins (2-7) finished the innings of at 132 all out from 49.3 overs.

With 50 overs to get the runs Thatcham in the form of Malcolm Bloor (24) and Matt Watts (18) went about in a slow but confident manner, when Watts was out Adam Phillips (23) came out to join the chase. With the scoring slowing down to good bowling and fielding the run rate was increasing so wickets fell more regularly, it was left to Chris Rochfort (10), Dave Taylor (16 not out) and Eddie Wylie (24 not out) to see the side home in the 45th over for a four wicket win.

A good all round team performance but a special mention must go towards Tommy Mather for his hat-trick.
