Match report Thatcham made it back to back wins thanks to a fantastic all round display lead by youngster Bobby Brown with both bat and ball.

Stand in skipper Wheeler won the toss and elected to field first. Green took the new ball and was his miserly self as he produced countless plays and misses from the Wokingham openers. Odhinn Moore struggled slightly to find his rhythm and was soon replaced by his younger brother Oscar. The change brought immediate rewards for Thatcham as Moore took two wickets in four balls and reduced the score to 44-2. Odhinn Moore then returned for another short burst with the ball and picked up the wicket of Patel for 37 just before Green finally got his rewards for his marathon 15 over spell by having Prakash (13) caught. A top effort from the tall seamer saw him go for just 29 runs in his 15 over spell. Brown entered the attack and got into his work straight away, as he found the edge of Bishop and was well caught by Bird in his first over. Brown then continued to roll through the Wokingham middle order as he picked up the next three wickets and finished with figures of 4-33 from 12 overs. Bird then got in on the act, removing Patil for 0 before a last wicket partnership of 20 began to frustrate the hosts. Wheeler brought himself into the attack and only required one ball to end the innings, with Bendall (38) caught by Klichowicz on the boundary. The visitors were bowled out for 150 inside the 51st over.

In response, Thatcham got off to a flying start with Klichowicz and Williams. This week it was Klichowicz who took the lead role as he struck multiple early boundaries. After 7 overs Thatcham were already on 41 but the experience John McDonald was introduced to the attack and quickly removed Williams (12) and then Klichowicz (43) a few overs later. Brown, fresh from his first Trout hundred last week, looked imperious once again. He looked to pounce on anything lose from the bowlers and soon raced to 50. Wheeler (3) and Denton-Powell (9) came and went but Young joined Brown at the crease to see Thatcham over the line. Brown making 77* off 66 balls the standout once again.

Thatcham now sit second and travel to bottom of the table Boyne Hill next week, as they look to make it 3 wins in a row and chase down league leaders Purley.
