Thatcham Town Cricket Club (Berkshire) are looking for a first team coach.

This is a paid position working Thursday evenings coaching the first team squad during the summer (6 April to 31 August).

The candidate will be responsible for

• ensuring all training sessions are planned and run at a high standard
• maximising development and enjoyment for the group.
• ensuring that training is organised and expectations are clearly communicated to players.

There will be an opportunity for the candidate to use the ground for private 1-2-1 coaching.

Candidates must hold a minimum Level 2 ECB Cricket Coaching Certificate or equivalent. and will require a valid DBS certificate. The successful candidate will report to the Club captain and Head of Cricket.

Thatcham Town Cricket Club run 3 senior Saturday teams in the Thames Valley Cricket League, 1 Sunday team in the Berkshire Blast League and a midweek team that play in the Downs Midweek League. The club also has a thriving junior and girls section with a number of junior players breaking into the first team squad.
