Thatcham Town Cricket Club Thatcham 2XI- Sunday v Brightwalton on Sun 15 Aug 2010 at 2pm
Thatcham Town Cricket Club Won by 114 runs

Match report Thatcham won the toss and decided to bat. Josh Winfield and Andy Rishton went out to try and get Thatcham off to a quick start but that was not the case as Thatcham lost Rishton early which brought Tristan Allen to the crease.
The two scored quickly and brought up a 100 partnership with Winfield passing 50 before Allen fell for 40. This brought Chris Rochfort (39) to the crease and the run rate was maintained until Winfield fell for 82, following which Thatcham drifted along to 208 for 7 off their 40 overs.

Thatcham opened the bowling with Gavin Ansell (2-20) and Tommy Allison (3-20) and got off to a flying start with Brightwalton losing 5 quick wickets.
Then a partnership developed until Adam Mather (3-26) got a wicket which was followed by another straight away, he was on a hatrick but the batsmen survived.
However, it was not long until the game was over with Eddie Wylie getting a wicket and Greg Cooper getting a wicket with his very first ball to get Brightwalton all out for 94.
