Match report On the first dry wicket of the season at Henwick NPL won the toss and decided to have a bat on a flat wicket, Thatcham did not wait long for there fist wicket with Tim Mahoney removing the NPL opener without scoring, the veteran seam bowler continued to roll back the years with 4 more wickets to leave Teddington struggling at 48-5, this sparked a comeback from the NPL Skipper who started to attack some wayward bowling from Liversidge and Mather, it was again down to Mahoney to come back into the attack and take his 6th wicket of the game for 53 runs with NPL 143-6, this signalled the collapse of the NPL innings, the last wicket fell when the veteran Mahoney fielded the ball off his own bowling and through the ball into Taylor behind the stumps and with the NPL score on 199 trying to get to 200 for extra points Taylor ran the batsman out,

Thatcham started the innings by losing Cottingham cheaply with the score on 10, but some lusty blows from Jamie Shields who quickly raced to 30 started the Thatcham run chase to gather pace, The loss of Shields and more Wickets to follow reduced Thatcham to 97-6 when Shiva and Taylor started to rebuild the Thatcham Innings, the next wicket fell when Shiva was clean bowled and Mather departed for a single, the Rejuvenated Mahoney walked to the crease", from the off Mahoney hit boundary`s all over the ground, and with good support at the other end Thatcham edged closer to the NPL total, with 12 required Taylor was stumped,Liversidge came to the crease and held his nerves with Man of the Match Mahoney to see Thatcham home at 203-9 in the 48th over, With Mahoney finishing 35 not out, and a great team performance which gave the skipper Wylie some end of day cheer,
