Match report Thatcham won the toss and elected to bat on a stinking hot day, with a lightening quick outfield.
Boyne Hill's opening bowlers Johnston and Preston bowled a testing opening spell, especially to Boneher, who didn't lay a bat on one until the 15th over and that flew through the slips, however he and Lewie weathered the storm before accelerating the scoring.
Simon Lewis was the first to go in the 31st over with the score on 114 for a well made 62, as he offered both pads in front of middle stump, as once again he looked to honk Hussain into the memorial. This brought youtube sensation and now gay icon Felix Hartley Russell to the crease to join Simon Rider.
His introduction was the push that the scoring rate needed as he added 40 in 31 balls.
Chet (butter your muffin) Wright 34 kept the runs flowing, with Boneher now striking the ball well he carried his bat for 88 not out as the innings closed on 258 for 5 from 52 overs.
The usual miserly, but unusually smiley S Hussain picked up 4 for 96 for the visitors.

Boyne Hill's innings was led by M Fernando 88 and he was supported by J Johnston 66. Although Thatcham kept taking wickets Boyne Hill were always scoring at close the required run rate. A quick 31 from S Hussain however, set up the exciting finish to follow.
With 14 runs required from the last over by Boyne Hill or 2 wickets for Thatcham the game was still in the balance.
Duncan Johnson with ball in hand was confident of doing the job. Burnett hit the second ball for 6, followed by a number of mis timed singles, but with one ball remaining five runs were still required.
Abraham, who previously had struggled to hit the ball 6 feet, danced down the wicket with all money on a stumping, he closed his eyes and launched the ball high over long on for an 85 metre maximum and a Boyne Hill victory.
Despite the last over Duncan Johnson picked up 4 for 54 for Thatcham.
Thatcham had had their chances, Bealer dropped Fernando at slip like a hot chip and the sweat monster misread a chance at mid off leaving him flapping around in the dirt like a beached manatee.
Thatcham travel to Yateley next Saturday, with FHR unavailable due to a visit to minor celebrity fat camp with Russell Grant and Hugh Jelly.
