Match report Good opening spells from Harland (12-1-39-5) and Patel (4-0-22-1) reduced
Falkland to 27 for 4. The only real resistance coming from B Chapman (100)
who put together a cultured innings. Williams (8-2-14-1) bowled an
excellent spell to further build the pressure. Johnson (9-0-53-1) got the
vital wicket of Chapman and Bird (9-1-48-1) dismissed Foster (27) to leave Falkland struggling on 209-9 in their 45 overs.

Thatcham's response was superb with an opening stand of 148, Patel (93) was in destructive form
and Ettridge (47) punishing some loose bowling at the other end. Stone
(28*) played some fine shots along with Wyatt (28*) hitting two towering
sixes to finish the job. Completing a well deserved 8 wicket win.
