A fine undefeated century by Jack Young, allegedly off 52 balls, set up another win for the Mighty Trouts as the Academy side remain top of Div 2.
No one else topped 17 so the Youngster contributed the majority of the team's total of 189 with extras next on 27.

In reply skipper Rochy set a defensive field on the short boundary as his first move in the run chase chess match. If you want it, you're going to have to work for it, was the insinuation.
The opposition weren't making a bad fist of the chase despite tidy spells from Elliot Denton-Powell (0/28) and George Armstrong (3-0-20-1). The turning point was the introduction of Gregor Wells (4-0-12-2) who stemmed the runs and dismissed the opener and no. 3 and then Tom Owen (4-2-13-2) turned the screw with his flat leg spin and googlies were too much for the oppo middle order. A notable mention was Jack Young's 3 stumpings. A flurry of boundaries by Wigley gave Blewbury hope but it was too late as Town held on for the win.
