Match report Thatcham had to make do with 7 points from their abandoned game with Burnham 2's at Brownsfield on Saturday.

Burnham 2's won the toss and decided to bat and a super spell of pacy left arm swing bowling from Steve Bartholomew ripped out their top order as he took 3-27 from an 8 over spell. Chris Bird chipped in with 2-31 from his 12 overs and John Williams took 1-32 from his 8 as Thatcham had the visitors 121-6 from 32 overs before the forecasted rain arrived and took the players from the field.

That was the last of the action as the rain set in and the match was abandoned.

Henley 2's are the visitors to Brownsfield on Saturday as Thatcham look to extend their unbeaten run to four games and will welcome back 'gun' bat Josh O'Flynn, wicket keeper Jack Young and the hard hitting Kieran Wood who were all missing from this weeks encounter.
