Match report Teddington won the toss and batted on a soft slow wicket in Bushy Park. Peter Edgcombe and Tim Mahoney started well for Thatcham picking up three wickets before 50 was on the board. Patel and Tamblingson started rebuilding the innings before Perry Moore removed the latter thanks to fine catch from Young wicketkeeper Jamie.
Patel continued his usual run spree against Thatcham, reaching 76 before he went the same way. Dardigan smashed a quick 30 before becoming Edgcombe’s third victim but Gaitskill continued the assault, taking advantage of the short boundaries and some poor fielding to pass fifty as the home side closed on 255-6.

Thatcham started solidly in reply thanks to Matt Denness and Iain Cottingham putting on 40 before the latter fell to a fine catch. In typical style Thatcham then collapsed to 60-6 as Dardigan’s accurate but innocuous medium pace proved too much for everyone.
Edgcombe and John Williams staged something of a recovery but it couldn’t last and a brief flurry from Moore got Thatcham past 125 for an extra point before he was last out with the score on 133. Very poor.
