Match report Following last weeks washout at Wokingham, Thatcham were again frustrated by the weather as persistent rain put paid to any attempt at chasing Beaconsfield's imposing 302. With only Alex Wood (2-60) finding any consistency amongst the Thatcham attack, Beaconsfield were dominant with Patrick Foster's impressive 113 and Adam Francis' 98 putting them firmly in control before the weather moved in to prematurely end proceedings. Thatcham will hope for sunnier skies for next week's visit to Wargrave in a bid to get their stop-start season under way.
